Dakota Hotels’ luxury lifestyle brand is comprised of 5 boutique hotels located across the north of England and Scotland. Following the acquisition of two of its luxury properties expedited the need for a new business platform as its existing Sage 50 solution could no longer keep pace. Exclusive Collection
Exclusive Collection is a unique collection of hotels and spas, with a golf club, cookery school and a pub thrown in for good measure – with each of its six destinations offering something different to delight its guests. In 2020, the hotel group identified a need for a new platform having outgrown its Sage 200 package and the manual spreadsheets and process that had become necessary to maintain everything. Following a live demonstration of the system at a HOSPACE event, the team selected Sage Intacct based on its impressive reporting capabilities.

The Other House
The Other House is a residents’ club combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel-style services. As a new company, they initially used Xero for its accounting needs when the business was pre-trading. As the property geared up to launch, the executive team needed a platform which would integrate with all key systems, to deliver high-level business insights, and scale to support the brands’ ambitious growth plans.
