Sage Intacct 2021 Release 2 (R2) is now available with new features and enhancements to help you work smarter and more efficiently. In the second release of the year, you’ll notice updates for cash management, general ledger, tax support, financial reporting and much more, with many of the ideas coming from Sage Intacct customers.
What’s New in the Latest Release?

- Custom reports
Supplier bank file details are now available for use in custom reports. - Use matching rules to match incoming transactions
For a more robust, flexible matching experience, set up matching rules and rule sets to reconcile with import or bank feeds. - Improved visibility for bank feed transactions
View and act on all bank feed transactions for an account in one convenient place. - See the status of books close
View your books close status in a new dashboard component. - GL insight on order entry transactions
Save time and validate the GL posting for a transaction from within the transaction. - GL dimension reports
Multiple enhancements to the dimension balances report provide clearer selection options and better visibility into what’s included. - UK-based balance sheets and income statements
Install UK-style balance sheet and income statements (P&L) directly from the reports library. - Financial report writer column type enhancements
Additional column type selections let you include several more budget/actual comparisons for better insight. - Rounding clarity
In financial reports and graphs, the rounding selection ‘in dollars’ has been renamed ‘whole number’ for internationalisation improvement.
