Sage Intacct 2021 Release 4 (R4 2021) is now available with new features and enhancements to help you work smarter and more efficiently. The forth and final release of the year includes new and updated permissions, improved financial visibility and increased functionality.
What’s New in the Latest Release?

- New and updated permissions
We’ve updated permissions for Accounts Receivable Advances and added new permissions for release restrictions. - Internet Explorer (IE) 11 is retiring
Sage Intacct has removed Internet Explorer from the list of browsers that you can use. - Accounts payable subledger audit trail
You can now track changes to your subledger books through the audit trail. - Visibility into general ledger posting
AR sales invoices and posted payments now have a GL posting tab for greater financial visibility. - New functionality for advances
New functionality for customer advances includes the ability to run custom reports, set up Smart Events and Smart Rules, and the option to edit an advance not yet applied. - Updates to advances
Customer advances got a refreshed user interface, clearer user permissions, and many other enhancements this release. - Increased functionality
Create a draft match with journal entries during reconciliation. - Enter line items with greater efficiency:
See the quantity on hand and quantity available for a line without running a report. - New scheduled report trigger for GL close
Have Intacct run scheduled reports automatically on a close.
The next Sage Intacct release date is due in 2022.
