2019: A Record Year for Percipient

Chris Stock, Managing Director of Percipient, talks about some of his highlights of 2019.

With 2020 just around the corner I wanted to take a few moments to reflect on some of the highlights and successes at Percipient this year. With record growth, record numbers of new customers, numerous awards and accolades to report, and most importantly of all, an amazing team which has made all of this possible, it’s fair to say that we’re ending this year on a high.

Having been in business for 16 years, 2019 saw both a record turnover and record profit across the company with more new contract wins, many of which are cloud-based, and more referenceable customers than ever before. We also launched our new website as part of our refreshed branding, which was supported by a number of marketing campaigns.

Award-Winning Partnerships

Our partnership with Sage has gone from strength to strength and has seen us win a number of awards. These include the Outstanding Achievement FY19-H1; Sage X3 Growth Partner of the Year; and most recently, being announced as a Sage Platinum Elite winner, a prestigious programme which recognises outstanding contributions to the Sage vision through customer success.

Testament to our relationship was that we were also selected as a launch partner for Sage Intacct, Sage’s award-winning, cloud-based financial management platform, a partnership which has already seen a number of new customers join the Percipient fold.

In parallel, our hospitality customer base continues to expand and we hosted our own finance event in collaboration, with HOSPA and City Cruises on the Thames. An incredible setting, which made for a great evening.

Our relationship with HOSPA has also seen plenty of activity in this space and we very much enjoyed seeing new and familiar faces at their HOSPACE event last month.

The Percipient Way

The highlight that stands out most from my point of view really is the fact that we’re blessed with such an amazing team at Percipient. Both our management and consultancy teams have gone from strength to strength and this has compounded our success. But crucially, new and existing members of the team really have embraced our ethos ‘the Percipient way’ – which ensures that people have the right values and cultural fit, as well as the right skills – to delight our customers through going the extra mile.

2020 will see us continue to grow the business in our core areas, expanding our footprint in hospitality and accelerating our Cloud offering via Sage Intacct. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved in 2019, and I’d like to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who has contributed. I am genuinely looking forward to working with the team to build on our successes in 2020 and until then, wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, prosperous new year.
