Hastings Hotels

Hastings Hotels is the largest independent hotel group in Northern Ireland, with seven luxury properties across the province. In early 2020, the hotel group instigated a digital transformation strategy and identified a need for a new financial management platform.

Following an extensive review of the market, they selected Sage Intacct based on its ability to integrate with online banking, property management, procurement and HR/payroll systems, its flexibility, reporting and superior management insights.

Dakota Hotels

Dakota Hotels’ luxury lifestyle brand is comprised of 5 boutique hotels located across the north of England and Scotland. Following the acquisition of two of its luxury properties expedited the need for a new business platform as its existing Sage 50 solution could no longer keep pace. They selected Sage Intacct based on its ease of use, intuitive dashboards and reporting, value and ability to scale, and went live in 2021 after a rapid 10-week deployment.

Exclusive Collection

Exclusive Collection is a unique collection of hotels and spas, with a golf club, cookery school and a pub thrown in for good measure – with each of its six destinations offering something different to delight its guests. In 2020, the hotel group identified a need for a new platform having outgrown its Sage 200 package and the manual spreadsheets and process that had become necessary to maintain everything. Following a live demonstration of the system at a HOSPACE event, the team selected Sage Intacct based on its impressive reporting capabilities.

From our initial meeting at HOSPACE, we were impressed by the reporting within Sage Intacct, in particular how dashboards could display key insights in an easily digestible way so that non-financial staff could access and use where needed.

The Other House

The Other House is a residents’ club combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel-style services. As a new company, they initially used Xero for its accounting needs when the business was pre-trading. As the property geared up to launch, the executive team needed a platform which would integrate with all key systems, to deliver high-level business insights, and scale to support the brands’ ambitious growth plans.

As a tech-led organisation, The Other House conducted an extensive review process to select Sage Intacct based on the fact it is the best system on the market and could efficiently integrate with other best-in-class systems.

Village Hotels operates 33 hotels which are mainly located on the outskirts of large towns and cities around the UK and prides itself on providing lifestyle destinations with modern technology; great dining; state-of-the-art gyms and pools; and meeting and event facilities. As part of a modernisation programme, the group identified a need for greater automation across the business with a focus on improving efficiencies, consistency and collaboration.

Using APIs to integrate with Village Hotels’ data lake, Sage Intacct now delivers a fully integrated, comprehensive view of the business that can be reviewed by both finance and non-finance staff.
