Process Audit Workshops

The Need

Implementing a new Information System, such as Oracle, is often seen as a major one-off investment. After a successful installation, attention is turned elsewhere in the business and the system is maintained in the same operational state until the business decides to upgrade to a new version or system. This is mainly because the system falls out of support, or because it is felt it no longer supports the business. This then becomes another major investment.

However, the software evolves over time, and quite often new features are made available which can be implemented in an incremental manner to keep the system up to date, and it is often these small improvements that create the greatest benefits to the business, making noticeable improvements for very little cost.

Our approach to this problem is to provide Process Audit Workshops. By having an experienced business consultant spend time with your operational staff, gaining an understanding of the business, the problems and issues faced and identifying improvement opportunities we are able to work with your business to create real strategic advantage.

The Workshop

Each workshop is a fixed term, fixed price engagement, with a business consultant in a functional process area. There will be a written report outlining the process, improvement areas and suggestions for moving forward. Improvements may be to take more advantage of existing software by utilising unused features, alternative methods of operation or taking advantage of new modules. Our workshops can be either 1 day or 3 day's on site and can cover any of the following business areas:
